About Community Helping Hands

Community Helping Hands was founded in Milwaukee with one simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting youth and families by creating access to meaningful programs, enrichment opportunities, mentorship, and essential resources. Every child has a unique story, and our work begins with listening. By understanding the needs of children, young adults, and families in our community, we help connect them with opportunities that inspire growth, build confidence, and create brighter futures.

Our programs are designed to remove barriers and open doors. From sponsoring young athletes and providing school supplies to hosting Reading in the Park events, organizing neighborhood cleanups, and partnering with local businesses and organizations, our goal is to meet youth where they are and help them move forward.

We believe strong communities are built by investing in the next generation. Through mentorship, education, volunteerism, and community partnerships, Community Helping Hands works to support youth, strengthen families, and create lasting opportunities throughout Milwaukee.
